Natalie Loomis, Ph.D.

  • Clinical Neuropsychologist
  • Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Natalie Loomis has a unique background as a clinical neuropsychologist, as well as a certified school psychologist. She has the training to address various ways that developmental delays, medical conditions, behavioral and social-emotional difficulties can impact a child’s ability to learn and be successful. She also has a strong background working with learning disabilities and the special education system. This can help ensure a private evaluation is accepted within the school setting, and allows her to use her expertise in developing IEP’s and 504 plans.

Dr. Loomis completed her APPIC-approved two-year postdoctoral residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at Baker Neuropsychology under the supervision of Dr. Jason Baker, becoming a licensed psychologist in 2019. She received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2017, with a minor in Special Education. She has also worked within the school system, completing her pre-doctoral internship in the Scottsdale Unified School District through an APPIC- approved internship.

Dr. Loomis currently works with children (ages 2+ years old), adolescents, and adults who are experiencing a range of difficulties, including: learning, attention, behavior, mood, Autism Spectrum/social skills, daily living, and executive functioning skills. Whatever the needs, Dr. Loomis helps parents advocate for different services and resources for their children, and navigate special education and gifted programming services. She also works with adolescents and adults to assist with transitioning to independence and success in higher education or work place settings. This includes assessing potential job areas of interest to help individuals plan ahead to meet their goals.
